Introduction
When you visit our website we collect data about you which is used to adapt and improve our content and to increase the value of the advertising displayed on the site. General
Personal data is that information which, to one extent or another, may be traced to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such data. For instance, this occurs when you subscribe to our newsletter, participate in contests or surveys, register as a user or subscriber, other use of services or conduct a purchase via the website.
We typically collect and process the following types of data: A unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet or mobile telephone, your IP number, geographic location and which pages you have clicked on (interests). To the extent you have given your explicit consent and have entered the information yourself, we also process: Name, telephone number, email address and payment information. This typically occurs in connection with set-up of a login profile or making purchases.
Security
We have taken technical and organisational measures to prevent your data being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, degraded, accessed by unauthorised parties, misused or otherwise handled in contravention of legislation.
Purpose
The data is used to identify you as user and show you the advertising which is probably most relevant for you, to register your purchases and payments as well as to deliver the services you request, such as sending newsletters, for example. In addition, we use the data to optimise our services and content.
Storage period
The data is stored for the period permitted by legislation, and we erase the data when they are no longer necessary. This period depends on the nature of the data and grounds for storage. It is therefore not possible to indicate a general timeframe for when the data is erased.
Sharing data
Data on your use of the website, which ads you receive and click on, geographic location, gender and age group etc. will be shared with third parties to the extent this data is known. You can see which third parties we share data with in the foregoing paragraph on “Cookies”. The data is used to target advertising.
In addition, we use a number of third parties to store and process data. These process data only on our behalf and may not use them for their own purposes.
Sharing of personally sensitive data such as name and email address will only occur if you consent to it. We only engage data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your data with adequate protections.
Links to other websites etc.
Our website may contain links to other websites or to integrated sites. We are not responsible for the content of other companies’ websites or their practices in connection with the collection of personal data. When you visit other websites, you are advised to read the owner’s policy regarding the protection of personal data and other relevant policies.
Freedom to access and complaints
You have the right to know which personal data about you that we process. You may also at any time object to the data being used. You may also withdraw your consent to data about you being processed.
